Not sure if I agree or disagree here, when an exit goes 2-1 on a roundabout, I won't let anyone in that's came in off the right lane, lets say the exit is you want is nigh on straight over, IMO you should be in the left lane to go straight on, and the right lane to carry on to the next exit.
Quite a few of the roundabouts around here are marked as left hand lane to take the 1st exit, right hand lane to take 2nd exit (straight over) and 3rd, 4th, etc. The amount of people who dont read the road markings....
