Well some quick photos from this morning, as I'm taking the other 1/2 out Christmas shopping
If I get time when I return, and it's still light I will try and take this "IMRC" apart again, as having reset the light on Friday at work, it came on again yesterday afternoon.
I really don't understand it, the cable is working at both ends, and I have cleaned the contact in the unit itself. The car runs really well, yet the light comes on within about 2 miles of resetting it. All there is left to do is check the solder isn't cracked on the power feed going onto the pcb.
Would a sticky throttle body throw up a light ? with the same warning code ?
I was outside bright and early this morning, the plan was to start working on the IMRC unit, but it was rather icy.
One thing I do love on this ST over all the Japanese cars I have owned is the heated front screen.
Start car, turn on heated front screen
30 Seconds later.
Less than 1 min in total.
I feel sorry for one of my neighbours who was out there spraying and scraping the ice off of his car
