it's about driving along a straight bit of motorway and when the roadworks are 2 miels away, everyone decides to sit in the 2 miles of traffic in the lane that's going to be open in 2 miles rather than use 3 lanes of tarmac for 2 miles and then filter in turn to the open lane
you therefore only have 0.66666 miles worth of traffic as opposed to sitting in a 2 mile tailback, even better, if the guy who decides to sit in the 2 mile tailback at the start of the 2 miles and travel at 0.5 mph for 2 miles, then tha'ts their tought shit if you then continue to use the open carriageway to travel the next 2 miles at 70 mph and then join at the end
i had this happen to me ages ago and there were 3 lorries that decided that they were going to sit in the 3 lanes of the M1 until everyone else just waited behiond them
after a few minnutes of obvious being pricks, i decide that there was no way i was going to sit behind them so i found a way around and shot off down the road, and when i got to the "obstruction" it was plain sailing to merge at 50 mph and continue past the 50 yards of roadworks and then on my way as usual while these cunts were still sitting still 2 miles back up the road and cunting everyone else off behind them
totally disagree, the reason there is 2 miles of queueing is because of people like you not wanting to filter across into the correct lane while the traffic is all still flowing and rather push in at the very last minute causing people to have to slow or stop to let you in, thus causing the 2 miles in the first place, if everyone simply filtered in before leaving it to the last second then there would be no queueing at all. I too block the lane, as it gets me, and everyone in front of me through quicker, and the inconsiderate twats behind can simply fight it out afterwards.
even worse is when the newer part of the A13 meets the older section in dagenham, goresbrook, and people actually get out of the main carriageway into the oncoming slip road to jump 10-20 cars up the road and then filter back on again, thats just being cuntish
