I hate cleaning cars, and I hate polishing them even more Haven't polished a car for probably 10 or 12 years!

I get a local hand car wash to wash the car, and they do a nice job (even if it is £12) doing the outside, inside, door shuts, etc.

But I was wondering if it's worth getting it waxed/polished too. My paint is pretty nice, and it'd be nice to protect it, and really have it shine (it's smooth and shiny when it's been washed, but I'd have thought a waxing/polishing would make it even nicer), and I presume that waxing/polishing helps protect the paint too?

How much would I be looking for to have this done?
