Hi all

I have just started rebuilding / reconditioning a Ford 1660 cc Cross Flow engine, on which was written in black felt tip 1660 GT HD.

It has been bored out to +060, hence the increased capacity and the head has the big valves. Also the HD means heavy duty valve springs.

But on removing the cam all I can find on it is what looks like BF 18 and C8K.This is stamped on the far end of the cam. It does NOT have anything else on it such as FORD, so I do not know who made it. I hope these pix help.

If any kind soul has some idea of what make and type of cam this is I would be very very grateful.
