I did exactly the same, been on XP since year dot, but found it was becoming out of date and new programmes would not be particularly great anymore.

So changed hard drives (so I could keep XP on the other just incase) installed it and after maybe a few hours I found it faster, clearer and just generally better tbh, though its's just like reading a map, once your used to jobs a good un!
