if it has a black plastic cover over a toothed rubber belt its a 1600 sigma (badged as a duratec or zetec-se depending on the donor car) and will fit the standard type 9 bell housing.

if its got a metal timing cover over a chain you need a duratec 1.8/2.0/2.3 bellhousing.

however ford never used the 1600 variant of the proper duratec with a timing change. so its 99% a sigma, so you should be fine with the standard iron bellhousing
