May end up doing that.

The reason i want to convert it is to save money, i want to be somewhat confident i won't get a lot of additional maintenance.
The idea is to have a semi fast responsive car without the fuel costs of a petrol car.

When i started this thread i thought the only possible problems you can have with LPG is the valves and valve seats burning out.
But I've been talking about this idea a lot, also to some car dealers and more possible issues came to light.

Someone told me the pistons might wear lot quicker on gas.
This guy was very ani-lpg, first thing he said when i started about gas is "gas is for cooking". So i'm not sure how serious i should take this.

The pistons in the ST170 are made of aluminium alloy.
The aluminium bit has got me a little worried now. Anyone ever heard of this before?
