Hi. i have a focus 1.8 tdci on 52 plate with 135k on clock. its got full servise history including cam belt at 100k. The egr is blanked off, there are no leaks on air pipes etc there no fuel leaks.
I seem to be getting 38 mpg mixed driving which i think for a tdci is poor ( my old 1.6 nearly.did that)
it seems to drive alright (as far as i can tell) with a bit of black smoke under hard acceleration
I should be getting a leak off test done tomorow at work if we can find the equiptment lol
is it possible its a faulty injector (s)
its had redex through it twice as well
