At 23 I had the option of

Hyundai accent 1.3 for £500 fully comp
Series 2 rs turbo £550 fully comp

You can guess which one I got (briefly till the head gasket let go) loads of people assume insurance is all based on engine size/power but it also goes on age/value of the car itself
