hi guy's, is it possible to drain tank before removing it to fit another sender unit, the other half's mother says its got about half a tank in it she thinks, but the gauge doesn't move, ive checked the fuses and they are ok, so i guess the tank will have to come out, just need to know how to empty the tank or get most of it out without forking the tank
Have you looked under the car yet? The other month I put petrol in my escort. Boy I was very happy when I looked under at the tank, there was a short bit from tank to pipe it was ruber hose. I just undid the jubly clip and drained it into a bowl, well a few bowls in fact. Cheers, Pete
