GSE built cars for Ford Motor Companys motorsport division Ford Motosport so you know how good they were,they also built rs2000's that were used in the european rally championship by the rally team that took over from ford motorsport running the world rally championship.
Gwyndafs top engineer is still available to work or advise on these special cars but not at Gordon Spooners any longer but at his own engineering company in Essex where else

I have dyno sheets at work of a 280bhp i4 that I am told was for gwndaf Evans, I have no reason to disbelieve my old man, I don't think he would make something so petty as this up

They never broke the 300bhp mark. 286 I beleive was the best seen from the 2.0l i4. The exhaust port is poor designed and needs larger valves which couldn't be changed for the f2000 regs.
