Hate to say it, but you're on your own. Ford will not be interested as there's no proof that the car was correctly maintained prior to your ownership. If you've got full main dealer service history then they 'may' consider a good will gesture, but it's unlikely.

It's the risk of buying a second hand car privately. What car is it?
