Hi cabriolet, the pump seems fine. I pulled a hose with it running and coolant came out then I quickly reconnected it.

The thermostat is good too, the engine warms up ok and sits at middle on the temp gauge the whole time.

One other thing I forgot to say - if the valve is unplugged, it should be letting coolant circulate through the matrix all the time. If I do this, it still blows cold air and the hoses stay warm on engine side and cold on the matrix side...

Wtf???
