If I recall correctly, from several topic discussions over tha last couple of years on here and RSOC BBS, the S2 caliper was actually something like 5% more efficient over the Cos caliper as the pad is longer and has greater contact surface area at the point on the discs where there is most leverage (the outer edge)....
