thanks martin its not a case off more out off the car im after i was more interested in askin was a filter better than a standard filter when i first bought the car i serviced it and the filter in her at that time was extremely un cared for. the new one i installed is now quite sooty after 2k . ive been told to get the EGR cleaned to see if thats the problem . so have bought some diesel additive and a can of EGR 3 to have a go . can i just ask spraying this stuff in to the intake is the proper way to do it ? also ordered a blocking plate today thanks again mark .
