Honey's not as calorific as sugar but there's not a right lot of difference in it.
It's just honey's better for you. Something to do with sugar being refined and all the goodness being removed, whereas honey is natural and easier for your body to digest. Thus you don't store as much fat from it.
Drinking water's good for you, especially lemon juice when you first get up, de-toxifies and stimulates the bowels.
