Yes, because the japanese are continually pushing the boundries of sportsbikes, updating, improving year after year so once a bike is ten years old, whilst it's still an awsome machine by it's own merits it is, by comparison, dated and out classed.

In contrast Hardly Driveable has been churning out the same old crap since the year dot so no matter what year you buy, it's the same old shit
Dude, are you BLIND?? How can you compare a SPORTSBIKE with a Cruiser bike?? While I like both types, I'd Jump on Harley do what Chip said..cruise and chill..If I wanted to go somewhere quick and not to far then I'd jump on the jap bike..
