I have noticed that my white combi the pump has more room at engin side. She just failed mot on uj gators near side and lower arm ball joint, so that is being done latter today, If in the near future I can not get anyone or tool to retime my other pump. Hi Again. Since my last post to you I have gave this some thought I now see by reading my manuel that no matter what pump you fit it seems to be the same prosess, the engins are deffinatly the same and the offset must be aloud for in the pump itself. I now believe you can fit either pump. As there is nothing to the contrery in the manuel, it just say the engine can have either pump fitted. but you will have to get the new one retimed with a presure gauge as per the manuel, as any marks you should have made when taking the first one off, will be no good for the new one.
