Will the breather fit 100% without any problems on a 90 spec mfi turbo?

I ask cause I bought one on eBay supposedly for escort and I think it might be fiesta cause I've had to elongate the holes, bend tab slightly and trim a couple bits to make it sit something like right.

Bt I thought the fiesta and escort were basically same engine.
