Already done that.

I removed the hose from where the water coming out of the heater would flow back to the engine and attached a garden hose. Water was flowing fine when running in the direction that would take it back through the heater and out through the inlet hose.

I attached the hoses back up, refillled the engine with water/anti-freeze and ran the engine till it reached normal running temperature. Still no heat from the heater, and as usual the controls all appear to be ok. Directional works, and still a noticable change in airflow when going from hot to cold and back. The heater inlet hose, from the engine, warmed up as you would expect. The outlet hose, back to the engine, stayed cold.

I have removed the underside of the dash on the drives side and checked the operation of the heater control and directional flaps. All ok.
