TBF mate the Mondeo is prob quicker any way due to the torque they put out my bro got a 170 we replaced the cambelt belt, clutch and flywheel, both O2 sensors and the Manifold runner ecu due to faults down the line and my RS2000 MK5 Escort is still faster lol i would say get the DTC's checked his was doing that when the ECU packed up
