I have a friend out there who is looking to buy a couple of either mk1 or mk2 scorts for me at the moment.
Exporting them is apparently free from any duty but the cars have to be registered in his name for at least 3 months so its not exactly a quick turnaround.
If you look hard enough you can find them very very cheap compared to most of our over priced rotten specimens
