Just mount the filter in such a way oil wont pish everywhere when you go to change it ! lol

Not like some numpties who mount the bloody filters upside down. Almost all filters have anti-drain back valves in them anyway so during normal operation they will be fine.

And as mentioned ensure you get the flow path through the filter correct. Not all housings are the same.
