ERST....Radiators
Hi
My GRS rad has let go after only 7k miles...not brilliant eh? Graham at GRS has said a re-core will be £220, which I'm a little reluctant to pay as it could go in another 7k.
I've been told the standard rads are better than aluminium ones because they have copper cores that are more thermally efficient. Is this true?
In two minds whether to buy a new aluminum Airtec rad or go back to standard. What do you think? Not sure if it matters but the cars currently at 260bhp, may re-tune to around the 300 mark shortly.
Cheers
