Ok so starting where i left off i bought those shelf brackets which were surprisingly strong, after some drilling and grinding bolted them up and after a load of work with the dremmel cuting the bumper they fitted great and were a lot more secure than i expected.
A good fit and was well pleased still a little bit of cutting to do on them and a dash of paint but all was good this is them with the spots fitted.
Bought her a little cover to keep her warm at night
Next up i wanted to give the car a more Rally look so decided to paint my wheels white.
Didnt realise how long it would take to prep the wheels took forever but i thought might aswel do it properly.
After needing to order more paint because i used way to much haha i think they came out great since iv never done anything like that before.
Next up after removing the bonnet latch needed Bonnet pins plus think they look great.
Really didnt like drilling the bonnet haha
got there in the end ha
I then moved onto a few little jobs just things that were bugging me, one more than most was the rear window bolts they got all rusty and the rust was leaving marks all down the window, so after abit of cleaning got the marks off the window then rubbed down the bolts and painted them.
Then got around to finishing off the spot lamp brackets.
Painted my tow eye's white and fitted arrow stickers.
Also did the front tow eye and sticker plus used some of my carbon wrap to tidy up the spot lamp bracket holes.
Fitted spot lamp steadies and gave her a little clean.
Bought an LED strip light off ebay for my map light wired it to a flick switch down by the gear lever works really well very bright.
interior mostly back together here.
Next up was MSA spec 4mm Mudflaps also added a phew little M-Sport stickers to stick with the rally look.
Pic of the whole car with mudflaps fitted, gives it a better looking stance imo
Did a few little things inside then tape on the steering wheel, M-Sport sticker for the dash, still gotta get a few more bits and piecies like map pockets, spill kit and hopefully a Terratrip to do.
And now iam right up to date these pics are how the car stands now iv fitted number plates and some areo flat blade wipers but thats about it haven't done alot for a few weeks, waiting for my mate to weld my seats in.
Work still ongoing still lots of plans for the car, hopefully bolt in cage will be next then to sort out a terratrip and finish off my air intake, i will keep this thread updated as and when i get things done, think i should have done that to start with HAHA this has taken bloody ages, off to bed now
. C&C Welcome please! Hope you like! Thanks in advance
