autoglass state that their repairs are usually free as insurance pays up as it saves them money over replacement.
it's the policies where there isn't windscreen cover that tend to cost you coin.

a small local place charges £35 for first repair and £10 for each additional one on the same car, that's them coming out too. that is if your insurance doesn't cover it, so not exactly expensive
