Thanks guys, so if it has a GCAT number and has rs on the log book it stands a good chance of being a genuine I'd, the shell however is a different story, fortunately I restore mk1 avo cars for a living so I've got a good idea what to look for on a genuine mk2 rs. It's just the mk2 numbers I've not had any experience with.
You can never know enough that's what I say.
