If you can't understand that tyres that steer, grip and clear water better ARE safer then really you ought not be allowed near a car.

IMO anything that reduces the risk of injuring somebody is worth the comparatively small expense

Nothing will ever change my mind about it, as I said, I care, some other people dont
Now yes i do agree with getting a good set of tyres will help with saftey, but what I'm trying to get a cross is that good tyres doesn't necessary mean expensive tyres.
