My colleague bought a new set of alloys for his mondeo (pretty average family car you will all agree) and these came fitted as standard. Within a few months on a motoway run with wife and 2 kids (2 year old and 8 month old) doing 70mph one of the blew out and almost put them in the barrier! I've heard more horror stories like these with these tyres and would not touch them with a barge pole. Is it really worth risking your life over say £30 saving per tyre. Get mid range tyres at least not shit budgets!
thing is phil blowouts can happen on any tyre brand, a mate on way to ford fair had a blowout in has saph cos on M40 as most of those heading from london saw, his tyres were expensive name brands too, Im not defending nankangs its the principal that I am defending, most that have a poor opinion on budget tyres have never actually used them or are in a position to afford higher quality ones, or jump on the bandwagon of those that slate them even though they have never used them
