I personally think t1rs are shit and wouldn't run then again. The noisy, don't last 5 mins a d you can feel the tread blocks shifting when pressing on. Total crap in the set aswell.

Let's not forget that the t1r is also a budget tire
Sorry mate, but as long as you defend a tire as poor as the Nankang I can't even begin to take your opinion on the T1R seriously. More so given the mileage I've put on them on and off track.

Yes I agree in full that the Toyo is a relatively budget tire. I stepped down to them from the Continentals I had used for years. If you're on a budget something like the Kumho KU31/7 would be a far more acceptable choice.

As I've already said my ex nearly totalled my old A4 after fitting a pair of Nankang NS2's. She gave me no end of shit before the very near miss about how I was wasting money wanting the Contis on it as the garage recomended these at a fraction of the price. She had to wind her neck right in as I "wasted" another £260 on a pair of Contis removing the 2000 mile old "perfectly acceptable" Nankangs.

You only have one point of contact with the road, why on Gods name fit shoddy crap. If it's a daily there's all the more reason for fitting a tyre of good quality. Steering, accelerating and stopping are all vital in day to day driving.
