There doesnt seem to be any sense or logic to the pricing of 2nd hand cars at the moment.

Im looking at buying either a non molested 2wd saff, a e65/66 760swb bmw or a focus st2/3 (in white or black) but prices can vary by as much as 5 or 6 grand for similar mileage/age/history etc.

We used to guage the value of a car buy seeing what people were paying for them on ebay auctions but even that makes no sense now! for example a black st2 was recently bid up to and sold for £5,700 on ebay but a pretty much identical car a couple of days later was bid up to £7,400. Both cars were privately listed and within 100 miles of each other?.

I dont see any way of advertising something for the right money first time round, i guess you'l know its right when it sells

Saying all that means i do know one thing for certain tho.... I wouldnt want to be in the motor trade right now.
