values on RS cars and especially the parts market are causing a demand for such cars/parts to be stolen, so like any market the criminals are simply stepping up their game to fill their orders and if there were no customers waiting to buy such things they would not be stolen in the first place, sad state of affairs for sure

That is assuming it's been stolen to break, and not stolen to rag the tits off it and then burn it out
