I think also in terms of getting pulled, they will give it a check over, the likes of tyres and lights, simple things. If its a heap of shit, they will take it, but if they see no reason to take it and think its safe to carry on then a £60 is all you'll get.

Obviously, they will be more thorough in terms of checking it over if its an older car thats rarely seen on the road compared to something less than 10 years old or something fairly common.

Are ALL police vehicles fitted with ANPR now?
