if their sole aim was to slow cars down they would be made to be visible from miles away with big flashing pink neon signs alerting everyone to their presence and making sure they were not breaking the speed limit when they went past

naturally these cameras would be positioned in nice safe areas such as the only overtaking spot in 74 miles and thus eliminating the need for folks to speed in that location
