insurers arent stupid when it comes to value. As long as you arent silly with a high value, it only makes a small difference to the premium.
However it can make a big difference to pay outs on fully comp as they can and will if they are being arsey only pay out the claimed value if its less than "market value" and you screwed yourself over by doing it.
