Good job mate, anyone reading, do not sand blast the cam cover, infact no engine parts, the sand embeds itself in the material and when hot the vibration sends it through the engine, seen many engines wiped out just after cam covers have been refurbed.

We have all our engine parts aqua blasted, it's more expensive but not in the long run.
