It is cheap enough to be worth the hassle and rare also. The market for Jap imports in Ireland looks like it's collapsed. Loads of cheap stuff over there now.

I am weighing up if I should fly in to Ireland and drive it back. I'm looking at around £400 in terms of Ferry, Flight + petrol. The car is in Cork and there is no Ferry operating from Cork any more. It makes it a bit of a mission to drive it back.

Have been quoted £380 from Cork to Liverpool docks.

Why do you need to inform the port of your intentions and which side do you need to speak to, Irish or UK? I was planning on just driving it over...
