DMF is the dual mass flywheel - they break up.

DO NOT BLANK THE EGR VALVE OFF. You will get the EML light on as it is electronically sensed being a euro4. If it was euro 3 then just mechanical and not an issue.

Be careful - you are spending 2k on a 05 Mondeo and ya going to throw money at it straight away with the bits you say are needed. I have not seen the car orits spec but for a 115 version etc I think ya paying top whack with that milage and ya willing to pay out as soon as you get it.

I would be asking the place ya getting it from to give it a full service inc belts and get that clunk sorted - might be a drive shaft of wishbone - you are willingly going to buy a car with a fault.

I have an 04 plate lx same miles and realistically I would be lucky to get 1k for it (not trying to sell it BTW mods).
