Default Timing

Hi all.
Before anyone says anything, I locked the cams and flyhwheel / crank before doing this job.
I changed the cambelt, didnt have any problems apart from when I was locking the cams.
I locked the crank at TDC, and the inlet cam was flat parallel to the top of the cylinder head, but the exhaust cam was off, it was off by about 2-3mm.

Is this correct, or did the old belt stretch slightly and mess the timing up?

I had no running problems, only a rough idle, which dissapeared as soon as I touched the throttle.

Cheers, Jason
