with a good quality turbo esp with a 270/360 bearing i think theres little need to worry about wear as a result or no dv. most people use a dv down to trend, rather than any technical reason albeit dv sales patter is usually ''protect your turbo''. i cant stand the sound, and for confirmation ive looked at pics of some big boost cars and noticed a blank/no dv. if karlos has had no problems with 30 odd psi then that settles it. same with a few other well known cars.
