Sorry to drag this back up but a quick question to those that own or have owned E39 M5's....

What sort of average yearly budget do you reckon you need to keep one in good health? Assuming you dont mind spannering yourself....

I know its always a gamble as there could be an underlying expensive fault but generally Tyres, fluids, servicing, known faults etc? Not including insurance and tax as obviously they vary on circumstance/ year respectively.
