Differences on exterior are front grill and wheels phase one metal grill phase two plastic wheels on phase one had large centre caps which you can swap for st170 ones and phase two had small centre bore caps. These are great little cars that go well and ate a very rewarding drive. I would recommend trying to find a non kiddy owned car as that way they've probably been looked after and serviced more regularly as bottom ends suffer badly from oil starvation.
