I had a good day, really enjoyed it, but some of the "trade" stands were pure comedy, it's all very well blaming eBay, but utter tat at Ferrari prices was everywhere!!

I will post a pic later, but my favourite "bargin" was a manky unpainted Escort Cossie bonnet, totally bare with no soundproof, vents etc for £500!!!! I mean come on
Oh, and a shagged set of kerbed peeling Escort cos wheels for £450

People had money to spend, but they are not mugs, I saw a lot of traders taking home near enough everything they had taken

Personally I think national day can be huge again IF the RSOC are sensible & lower gate & trade prices, and allow non RSOC members to display their car on the local group stands for a sensible fee on top of the entrance? Go for volume over a few higher priced tickets!

With all Donnys security problems over the years, no one wants to leave their car, rs or otherwise outside....
