Loads were tucked away in the early 90's due to amount of money to insure them and that bought about a massive drop in values, I presume most of the good low mileage cars coming out have been given this luxury. I bought my 3 door in 92 and from the previous year they had halved in value. At the time I was offered a 4 year old magenta sapphire with leather for £4300 and the owner couldn't get that. If I knew about 500's back then I would have held out for one, but I thought there was only 3 doors and sapphires back then. I just could never part with mine so will remain a 3 door owner, but I can't see why a someone who wants a mint moonstone 500 wouldn't pay this and I wouldn't be surprised at all if it sells, but if it was my car even at that price I wouldnt sell it. It would be almost impossible to replace. I feel like that about my 3 door, value doesn't come into it, it's the hassle of finding another to buy. Good luck with the sale but be sure it's what you really want to do.
