Look at Peugeot engines I think. 1.9TD with a bosch pump will run on cooking oil and mine with 22psi of boost and raised fueling was touching 130bhp.
You goto take into account that that engine is totally mechanical, you wouldn't have to touch an ecu!
All it needs to run is a fuel flow, return and a live to the fuel pump!
