cold start
unplug idle speed control valve when cold start should run alright all be it @ lower rpm if fueling is correct, it should slowly increase rpm as engine gets warmer till it has reached it's base idle setting (850rpm) once the engine is at opperating temp plug the idle speed control valve back in , it should make know difference to the rpm.
Sometime the idle speed control stick so making theirs control very sharp ie- open or closed . This can cause engine to stall due to a non progessive valve action.
If the engine does not run properly when started from cold with idle speed control valve unplugged it could be the blue temp sender as stated above or wiring/ chip(fuel cold start map)
