1.3 cdti is what I have now,and will be getting it mapped,econmy is better but you also have more power and torque and obviously if you rag it day in day out then maybe a little worse.

My 1.7cdti used to get 80 miles to a tenner before and after the map but the torque after a remap is a massive gain, the 1.7 is a better engine,although I have done 17000 miles in my 1.3 without fault,I did 30000miles in my 1.7 and that only needed the egr cleaning but blew 2 water pipes in my time but never damaged the HG

I Would not have the 1.3 in a 5 speed
