Now this concerns me somewhat, firstly it can't be a thermostatic cooler although i brought it (2nd hand off here) as one, it does seem to have a stat in the take off plate though.
It can be, Mocal's are designed so the sandwich plate lets some oil through, but some goes through the cooler too, even with the thermostat 'shut'.
