Oil Cooler
Got my oil cooler fitted yest, was unsure where to mount it etc. But i put it on the inner wing above the gearbox... Lovely job - Until i started the car up, it took several "cranks" to build oil pressure up then once i started it up it chucked oil out of the cooler, between the cooler itself and one of the factory fitted mocal unions, that seem to be tack welded in position.
Now this concerns me somewhat, firstly it can't be a thermostatic cooler although i brought it (2nd hand off here) as one, it does seem to have a stat in the take off plate though.
Secondly it leaks, and i don't wanna start welding the cooler up to repair it for it to leak again later...
Thirdly all the time i spent fitting the damn thing was wasted as i've gotta do it all over again!
